Hello, I’m Jojo.
Hui Ching Clarisse KongJournalism has long shaped how I make sense of the world and the stories I choose to tell. My background spans healthcare and clinical research, while music has always been part of my life. I am studying Speech and Language Therapy, which is deepening my interest in communication, care and what it means to be heard.I created Together with Jojo to capture the narratives that fall through the cracks of the mainstream. It is a space for stories around health, identity, family, communication and belonging, especially those that are easily overlooked or do not fit neatly into conventional narratives.Raised in Hong Kong, with roots in Singapore and now based in London, I write across cultures and perspectives. I am interested in what happens beyond the headline, from the lived experience of health and care to the nuances of communication and the small details that can change how a story is understood.Together with Jojo brings these threads together through journalism, storytelling and conversation.If you have a story, an idea, or something you think deserves a closer look, I’d love to hear from you.
